If you are a recreational camper, it is time to enter the world of glamorous camping, or as we like to call it- Glamping. Who doesn’t love nature, but the fear of the great outdoors can keep us from venturing into the wild. Besides the fear of mosquitoes, what else might be lurking around may present a valid argument for staying indoors.

Case in point, glamping seems like the most appealing thing ever, with all the amenities present with you while you witness nature in all its glory.

Glamping

Glamping integrates an element of glamour to your recreational camping trips. It brings a high level of amenities and focuses on providing the most comfortable experience for people who love nature. It is camping – but much more fabulous than any other camping trip you’ve ever had.

Some might consider this as a challenge to their “camping expertise,” but it is quite the contrary. That is an opportunity to visit nature without the “unnecessary” risks.

There are now several vacation companies offering the opportunity to experience glamping all over the world. With so many incredible sites now easily accessible without the discomfort of traditional camping techniques, glamping provides the perfect opportunity for people to enjoy nature in a safe environment.

Glamping In Style

You’ve probably planned hundreds of family trips to the beach each year, thrown great parties and enjoyed some delicious barbeque – however, it all gets old. For someone with a sense of adventure and a knack for arranging the best get-togethers’ finding new ways to entertain can be demanding. Glamping is the savior you need, the thought of camping in the wild may not appeal to your audience, but glamping can be anyone’s cup of tea. The possibilities and locations for this are endless, plus this is one of the safest ways to get your technology-ridden children out into the open. Glamping offers the perfect setting for interaction with nature and the opportunity to learn about it firsthand.

Glamping In Style

Glamping takes it several notches higher by bringing the luxuries of home into the wild. Imagine leaving your room to walk straight into the refreshing natural environment, birds chirping, trees swaying in the breeze and you might just witness a few squirrels chewing on some nuts.

Glamping replaces the small-limited – space tents with large almost room-sized structures. These tents are large enough to hold a bed instead of the uncomfortable mattress that you have to sleep on in regular camping trips and carry it on your back while walking to your car. You can walk through this glamorous tent that boasts a space large enough to accommodate comfortable sitting space, a gorgeous rug on the plastic/artificial floors, and the best part? You do not have to eat or drink in a plastic cup.

Glamping is an experience that many companies are providing, but you can certainly put your own twist on it and DIY a perfect camping experience even in your own backyard.

If you are a camping enthusiast, then any camping trip is a welcome opportunity. But glamping with its gorgeous soft rugs, crystal dinnerware, and a fluffy bed in the middle of nature is certainly a tease. For anyone with the love of nature, glamping is a welcoming phenomenon, but how do you do it?

A few tips and tricks that we have accumulated will help you get the perfect picturesque tent for a lavish camping trip.

Glamping Gear

If you are picturing a Pinterest worthy glamping site in the recess of your mind, then you should know that translating it into reality needs some effort and knowledge. Glamping is not just a sweaty campsite, but it should entail the perfect balance between comfort, luxury, and glamour.

It is about creating a setting that gives you a romantic feel, comfort and relaxation in the midst of nature without bugs buzzing in your ears.

It is more about the attitude, new lenses for looking at the glory of nature and old/traditional ways of camping. Glamping is camping for enjoyment, relaxation, and fun rather than an exhaustive trip that would make you question your decisions.

Glamping needs to be done right; otherwise, it may be the same exhausting trip into the woods. This is what you will need to make your trip a success:

The Tent

This is your abode for the time you spend on the trip. You want this to be lavish and comfortable, don’t worry this can be done on a budget.

The tent has to be large, even if only two people are planning this trip. Get a large tent that has walking space and can fit up to 8 people. A 156 sq ft tent will do the trick for you. This is a good investment as this is not one-time use. You can arrange other trips in the future using this 4 season luxury outdoor bell tent.

The Bed

Get a blow-up bed for this tent. This will not be a comfortable experience if the bed is uncomfortable. An air mattress is a perfect product for this kind of trip. You can get a queen-size or a king-size aero bed that can be filled up using a rechargeable quick pump. This is a comfortable bed for a fair price. The Intex Deluxe Airbed is the best selling airbed on Amazon. The pump is another excellent investment!

Rugs

Of course, you can go all out and spend a few extra bucks on rugs, but a cheap one will do. Get something that is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

Linen

Creating a cozy atmosphere is necessary for her, get the right amount of linen, preferably soft and textured ones to add to the mix. Get some cheap ones on sale or visit the cheapest store in town to get a few.

Pillows

Fill up space with cozy pillows. This will help lighten-up the surrounding environment, instilling a sense of utter relaxation.  Spread the pillows throughout the tent to give it a cozy and inviting feel.

Stay Warm

Splurge a little on the comfiest blanket you can find. This is what gives the entire trip a home-like feel. Go for 100% pure virgin wool to keep you warm. These blankets will cost you around $ 220 and above, depending on the size. Also, pack some sheets or get a soft flannel to spread on your air mattress while you are at it. You can also get a stain and odor resistant blanket that complements the outdoors. You will find several options online for around $199.

Lighting

Nothing is more important than lighting on a glamping trip. A warm cozy-glow gives the space a comfortable feel. It is best to choose electric or battery-operated candles and lights, real fire is always a hazard. Get some string lights, this turns your entire tent into a canvas. String these lights across the entire length of the tent and enjoy some bomb pictures while you are here.

Hammock

You can go several routes with this, a luxurious lacey or a canvas hammock. Hammocks are the absolute necessity of a campsite; do not miss out on the experience.

Kitchenware

Find yourself a deluxe camp kitchen that caters to all your needs. It is not always the best feeling to deal with the remains of a campfire or to “cook” a meal on it. Go easy on yourself and get a deluxe set that provides you counter space and some hangers and hooks to work in the wild.

Or get a stove, preferably a portable electric stove, for the food. No experience is complete without food, and you should add a portable stove to the top of your gear-list for the camping trip. And of course, a gorgeous set of dinnerware that compliments your campsite perfectly.

Music

You cannot create an ambiance without the right music. Pack your portable speaker with you or if you don’t have one, get one. This is what you will bring back home with you; it’s not just for the glamping experience. Get the wireless variety. We recommend the OontZ Angle 3 Bluetooth speaker. This speaker is also weatherproof.
